Master’s Programme on Sustainable Cities 2026
We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 edition of the Master’s Programme on Sustainable Cities at the Norman Foster Institute, in collaboration with the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
Running from January to December 2026 in Madrid, the programme combines hands-on urban engagement with global academic and professional expertise. This year, we are excited to expand our work to three pilot cities across Asia, Europe, and Latin America—offering our students an even more diverse and international perspective.
The academic year is structured around three areas of specialisation:
— City Science, led by Norman Foster and Dr Gareth Simons
— Urban Design, led by Norman Foster and Professor Vishaan Chakrabarti
— Architecture, led by Norman Foster and Professor Frédéric Migayrou
Applications are open until 1 July 2025.
We would be most grateful if you could help us share this opportunity—whether through a LinkedIn or Instagram post, or by forwarding it via email to colleagues, students, or wider networks who may be interested, particularly potential candidates or institutions who might benefit from or contribute to the programme.
